What is the Green Certificate Program?
This is a unique Off Campus Learning opportunity that happens outside the school schedule under the supervision of a trainer.
The location of the off site experience is generally the agriculture setting of the student or trainee's own home, but it could take place at the farm or ranch of a neighbor or family friend.
The emphasis for the agricultural apprenticeship is a real world experience in a safe environment. This means learning, hands-on, out in the barn, field or corral and getting dirty. It also means having a trainer who is knowledgeable and interested in the trainee's success. Up to 16 credits can be earned for each specialty.
